“I have known Teacher Sam for years. She was my youngest daughter’s TK teacher, and I’ve had many opportunities to see her in a classroom setting (teaching a large group of children and also interacting one-on-one with them). She is very knowledgeable (both, with respect to academics and child development stages). She teaches with kindness, empathy and enthusiasm. She keeps children engaged; teaching content in fun and playful way. She is creative and very resourceful; always trying different approaches to teach based on each child’s learning style. My daughter was not comfortable reading out loud when she first got to Teacher Sam’s classroom… With a little game here and a little rhyme there, Teacher Sam made her fears disappear.
