Meet the Teacher

Hi! My name is Sam and I’m a certificated K-6 school reading specialist trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach. I offer private tutoring in Sebastopol. Using a structured, systematic method, I support elementary students with dyslexia and reading difficulties as they build strong decoding, spelling and writing skills. I’m passionate about helping children become confident, fluent readers while nurturing a lifelong love of reading.
